Meet Our Team

Anna Kellerman.
Founder & MD (Mama/Director)

I remember from an early age I was always drawing, painting, inventing and creating. Art allowed me to transport myself into a magical and whimsical world where anything was possible. I guess it’s fair to say I’m still a kid at heart, with a big imagination and an even bigger determination to bring some of it to life.

Art and education have also been big passions of mine. Through my studies (Bachelor of Art Education, & Masters in Art Therapy), I have been fortunate to work with children of all ages, using art to help them through a range of emotional and behavioural problems. For some, this creative process provided profound and lasting effects, which has both humbled and inspired me.

Throughout my life I have continued to draw and paint, study, travel, work in various galleries and curate art exhibitions around the world. My curious nature also led me to work for many years in brand development, ethnographic research and consumer insights, where I developed a range of creative techniques to further understand peoples’ perceptions across a range of categories, services and products.

Yet, by far, my most rewarding adventure is that of being a mother to a gorgeous little girl.

With nearly a lifetime of participating in, and observing, the significance of art and creativity in the development of children's lives, the blossoming of a personal dream is being realized. ArtBuds is the culmination of all my passions rolled into one wonderful venture to create amazing artworks and thoughtfully designed educational products, to nourish and stimulate kids' visual, creative and imaginative development.

Cyril De La Torre Branger.

Founder, Creative Director & Technical Guy

I am passionate about art, design, photography and technology in no particular order. I am also a Papa to a beautiful little girl, creative director at Deltobran, and in 2002 founded one of the first online art portals, Antipoda. Since then I have continued my passion as a surreal art curator and since forever have been a mountain bike free-rider.

Giving back to the community through charitable and creative ventures is another great motivation of mine. In 2005, following the devastation of the tsunami in Thailand, my wife and I curated two art shows, Pearl. We raised $20,000 for UNICEF children’s education, which helped to build a school.

One of our larger future goals for ArtBuds is to create a foundation and offer art mentoring programs for kids and teens, as well as many other inspiring projects where art, artists and children work together, creating positive change through art.

Chief Quality Controller & In-House Model

As the inspiration behind ArtBuds my main responsibility is to keep things on track so our artworks and new product development really fits well with what kids really want.  Still being quite little, but sweet and cute, I also double as the model for the toddler photo shoots. It's pretty fun, I get to jump on beds, play with new toys, make new friends and eat yummy cake my mama buys for looking cute in photos. I also love dressing up in my ballerina fairy dress, drawing and painting and making colourful biscuits with my grandma.

I have very fond memories of studying art in high school, I had the most amazing art teacher who was more like a mentor and I remember spending the majority of my final senior years in the art block when I should have been in the library! Since then I have travelled abroad and found a passion within art history, which I am studying enthusiastically at the College of Fine Arts.

I am delighted to be able to combine my business and writing skills, as well as my love for children at ArtBuds, it is truly a great thing to be part of something that encourages the gift of creativity to be shared and enjoyed amongst families.

Marketing & Social Butterfly

My love for art and all things pretty began at a young age. I grew up in Uralla, a quaint country town in NSW. My love for art and creativity never stopped, in fact it flourished. Inevitably it brought me to study painting at the College of Fine Art (COFA) in Sydney where my creativity can run free.

As one of five children and twenty-one grandchildren, being around children of all ages comes naturally. While teaching children’s art classes I am able to combine my love for both children and creativity. Now, in an almost magical trifecta; I can, through ArtBuds, pair my business-savvy mind together with my two greatest passions: art and kids.
