1. A brief story about you

I am a graphic designer, illustrator and artist as well. I love music, comics, cartoons, anime, manga and magic. I have two daugthers who are my inspiration, Luna and Love, and I believe in fairies.

2. Your first/earliest visual memory?

My visual memories take me to my childhood house full of folk art from different cultures my parents had collected. Also, in the early '70s in Mexico there was a lot of Japanese animation going on, so everything I remember was Japanese pop art, like Hello kitty and Anime like Astroboy from Osamu Tesuka.

3. What or who inspired you as a kid?

To read fairie tales, to see on TV The Muppets from Jim Henson and Gumby the clay character by Clokey. I loved to see books about space, planets and stars, dinosaurs, magic, unsolved mysteries and encyclopedias about science and animals. I was very weird, I never liked Barbie.

4. An early poignant art making moment/experience?

Yes, when I was 5 years old, my mother took me to a water colour class for teenagers, so I really enjoyed to go to art clases and dream about being adult going to art school to be an artist.

5. How would you describe your style and approach to your work?

Folky and fun.

6. Message for mini budding artists?

Never let go of your dreams, follow them and construct them, you write the story of your life.
